Day 1,
Arrive Zürich and drive to Lucerne
Arrive at Zürich's Kloten Airport clear Swiss Immigration and Customs.
Your rental car is handed over to you at the airport by our agent and
you drive 40 miles from the Airport to Lucerne. In Lucerne check into
your centrally located hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits
you. The balance of the afternoon is for independent activities. Overnight

Day 2 &
3, Independent days in Lucerne
Luzerne (Lucerne in French and English, Lucerna in Italian)
You have to explore one of the nicest places in Switzerland. With a
beautiful lake, stunning mountain views and a picturesque old quarter,
there's little about Lucerne that tourists don't like. Your hotel is
conveniently located so you can explore the old town and the 14th century
covered Kapellbrücke. In addition to a good transportation museum
outside town, the cable car trip to Mt. Pilatus for lunch is a "must
do." Overnight Lucerne.
Day 4,
Lucerne City tour
After breakfast at your hotel, meet your English speaking guide in your
hotel lobby at 9:00 AM for an in-depth city tour and a boat trip on
Lake Lucerne. After your program, the balance of the day and evening
is for independent activities. Overnight Lucerne.
Day 5,
Lucerne to Interlaken
Leisurely drive the 50 miles to Interlaken. In Interlaken, check into
your centrally located hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits
you. The balance of the day and evening is for independent activities.
Interlaken is an exceptional base for for next four days in the region.
Blessed with beautiful weather, (at an altitude of 1,870 ft/570) Interlaken
is sandwiched between Lake Brienz and Lake and rests right at the very
foot of the Jungfrau Mountains - WOW!! Overnight Interlaken.
Day 6,
Interlaken guided tour
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast.
There is a long list of sights to see in Interlaken and our guide is
available to help you experience your favorite choices. After a day
of sightseeing, the balance of the evening is for independent activities.

Day 7 &
8, Independent days in Interlaken
Two full days to explore the region around Interlaken on your own. Our
choice for an "up close and personal" view of the Alps is
from the revolving restaurant at Schilthorn (2970m/9748ft). The wrap
around vista of icy peaks (from the Eiger to the Matterhorn to Mont
Blanc), packs it all into one journey well worth the trip. Car-free
Mürren is another picture perfect stop. Here the awesome trio;
the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau range overhead while the valley floor
below Mürren is 800m (2625 ft) straight down. Overnight Interlaken.
Day 9,
Interlaken to Zermatt
Drive 60 miles to Täsch where you park your car and meet our agent
at the "welcome Center." Here you transfer into a private
vehicle to complete the remaining 5 mile trip into Zermatt (Zermatt
is car-free). In Zermatt, check into your centrally located hotel where
a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits you. The balance of the day and
evening is for independent activities. At the base of the Matterhorn,
Zermatt is one of the best-known ski resorts in the world and a desirable
destination for tourists. Overnight Zermatt.
Day 10,
Independent day in Zermatt
A day to explore the region around Zermatt on your own. Ride the highest
cable car in Europe up the Klein Matterhorn (Little Matterhorn) where
skiers find snow on the highest slopes in the middle of summer. There's
also the Gornergrat Railroad for more breathtaking view of the Alps.

Day 11,
Zermatt to Chur
After breakfast drive 120 mile to Chur. In Chur, check into your centrally
located hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room awaits you. The
balance of the day and evening is for independent activities. Chur is
the oldest town north of the Alps and is at the junction of two world
famous rail lines; the Bernina Express (Chur to Tirano) and the Glacier
Express (Zermatt to St.Moritz). There are 26 spa centers (health-cure)
within 15 to 45 minutes from Chur and it is the gateway to the Graubünden
holiday region, offering a tantalizing selection of local foods and

Day 12,
Guided tour of Chur
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast
for a full day guided tour of Chur and a visit to "Heidi Village."
Poet and storyteller Johanna Spyri was inspired to write her Heidi stories
during her visits in nearby Maienfeld. With the help of our guide, the
second
portion of your tour relives Johanna Spyris Heidi story where
it happened. Overnight Chur.
Day 13, Chur to Zürich
After breakfast drive 75 miles to Zürich. In Zürich, check
into your centrally located hotel where a pre-reserved, accessible room
awaits you. The balance of the day and evening is for independent activities.
Your hotel is convenient to explore the beautifully restored historic
buildings and narrow, hilly alleys of Zürich's Niederdorf (old
town). Overnight Zürich.
Day 14,
Zürich guided tour
Meet your English speaking guide in the hotel lobby after breakfast
for a guided tour of Zürich. Following your tour the balance of
the day is for independent activities. Visit the old town, Zürich's
trendy West district, the lake or the shoppers paradise of Bahnhofstrasse
and the Limmatquai.
And if you want to get the very last out of your time in Switzerland,
the nightlife in Zürich is legendary. Overnight Zürich.
Day 15, Zürich departure
Return your rental car to our agent at the Zürich Airport in time
to allow added time for airport security. Filled with souvenirs and
memories of your Swiss adventure board your departure flight. Arrive
in the USA the same day.

basic collision coverage, and onboard GPS navigation system. Accessible

International airfare, passports and visas, travel insurance, admissions
