Accessible Dublin rolling tourOur wheelchair accessible rolling tour of Dublin is with our experienced guide will meet you at your hotel and show you the most important sights of the Irish capital on a rolling tour. You will visit Trinity College, Ireland's first university, with its spectacular library and the famous Book of Kells, originating from the 9th century. On your tour you will also visit St Patrick's Cathedral, one of the most beautiful examples of gothic architecture in Dublin. Your guide will then lead you along to Christ Church Cathedral, one of Dublin's largest cathedrals, dating from the middle ages, along the shores of the River Liffey and into the Georgian Quarter with its famous colorful Dublin doors. On the tour there are also great opportunities for lunch in one of the cozy Irish pubs. Accessible Dublin City TourOur wheelchair accessible Dublin Tour has been carefully designed to give you the freedom to explore and experience the history and culture of Dublin at your own pace. With our licensed guide you visit all the main Dublin attractions along the route and these include Dublin Zoo and Trinity College and numerous pubs and bars in the Temple Bar area. Accessible Trinity College TourOur wheelchair accessible tour visits Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland, founded in 1592. Today the college sits on a 40-acre site which retains some of its ancient seclusion of cobbles squares, gardens and parks. The college is famed for the great treasures. These include the Book of Kells which was written around 800 AD and is one of the most beautifully illuminated manuscripts in the world. The Book of Kells Turning Darkness into Light – Exhibition explains the background of the story of the famous gospel manuscript – the Books of Durrow and Armagh and an early Irish harp. These are displayed in the Treasury and the Long Room which houses over 200,000 of Trinity's oldest books. Accessible Irish Whiskey TourOur wheelchair accessible Irish Whiskey tour explores the fascinating history of Irish whisky. You can follow the interesting craft of whisky making through the different stages from grain intake to malting, mashing, fermentation, distillation, maturation and bottling. Finally, the tour culminates in the bar for a traditional complimentary Irish Whisky tasting session. (Note: not all visitors may want to participate in the tasting session, but all visitors will receive a glass of Irish whisky).
